Cold Brew Coffee

Cold Brew Coffee

Cold Brew Coffee, also known as cold water extraction or cold pressing, is the process of steeping coffee grounds in cool water for an extended period. Coarse-ground beans are soaked in water for approximately 12 to 24 hours.

Since the ground coffee beans in cold-brewed coffee do not come into contact with hot water, the leaching process extracts flavours differently compared to conventional brewing methods. Coffee beans consist of various components that are more soluble at higher temperatures, including caffeine, oils, and fatty acids.
